Our June Business Resource Meeting is all about "Treasures In Our Neighborhoods". Tom Wahlrab, from Welcome Dayton, will give us insights and ideas about the Dayton area so we can talk to our clients and friends and family and get to know this area we call home. Who knows... maybe if you were born here he may tell you things you didn't even know!

Thursday, May 22, 2-4 pm we are giving our members a FREE safety course. Jeremy Roadruck, with Mengs Martial Arts, will show us how to protect ourselves if we are ever approached or attacked while we do business showing homes, holding open houses, meeting clients for the first time.

Have you often thought abut joining Women's Council of Realtors but didn't know enough about it? Please join us Thursday June 20, 2013 at the Wine Gallery, downtown Dayton on the corner of Main and Monument, from 5:30-7:30pm. We'll have some fun, some laughs, and answer any questions you have about this wonderful organization. C'mon, let us help you "put your best foot forward"!

Clothes That Work
Once again our chapter has chosen Clothes That Work for our Community Service mission. If you have any interview appropriate clothing -- clothes, shoes, jewelry -- please bring it to one of our Business Resource Meetings or give me a call and I'll meet you to pick up your donation.
Clothes That Work proudly presents the sixth annual “Hunks In Heels” fundraising event on Saturday, May 11, at The Greene Town Center in Beavercreek. Nearly 100 men will become "Hunks" as they don a pair of high heels and race around The Greene in support of the important women in their lives. Event festivities start at Noon as the Hunks select their running heels. Races begin at 1:00 with the award ceremony starts around 2:15. Hunk racers can participate as either individuals or as part of a team in one of approximately 10 racing heats. Each heat winner will participate in the Final Race in a fierce, heel-to-heel competition to be named the "Hunks In Heels Race Champion"! A team of five men can register for a $400 donation and a team of 10 for a $700 donation. All fees are fully tax deductible.
We've partnered once again to help people of the Miami Valley, get interview appropriate clothing. When you clean out your closets, bring in your gently used clothing, shoes and accessories to any Business Resource Meeting.
